Full of musical instruments in my house. Why?
GREEN TEA BEFORE CONCERT / JAZZY COMPACT

Green Tea lesson yesterday at Komichan's:  Harmonica solo in "Sukiyaki-song" and craves percussion in "Otemoyan". Hard to memorize all of lyrics of the program. We discussed what to wear in what color. We'll wear black long dress with green and pink scarves respectively in 1st and 2nd parts. The concert site is very old, as Nemochan described. About 50 seats for audience. Poor lighting equipment on dusty stage. Woooow, but interesting to see it around. Especially in how to make sound settings if in need. We will make digital audio visual recordings there on Nov. 11.

Next concert offered to Green Tea: One rich man's offer is cute. He regularly hold concerts for local people, where they pay for drinks/food and music. Most of the customers are male over middle age.  Its concert is  held at night, which provoked among us what our performance might be like. My issue is to be a good Alto member asap, first of all about A-Capella.

COMPACT Practice on Nov. 1: Chel, Hil, Asa and Cin. Chel gave us new lead sheets: 1. In the shade of the old apple tree, 2. Ryoshu,  3. I've got you under my skin. 1 and 2 are in swinging version. 3 is a real jazz, according to Chel.

Next Pekin Hall stage program: "Ame-no-Monogatari" instead of "San Francisco" as a vocal item. Piano made solos in some tunes, which sounded good in good tempo for dancing.

Jazzy Compact: Chel offered jazzy tunes this time. Especially "I've got you under my skin" is great! Chel played it with his guitar. Fascinating really.

We tried them and liked them. Repeating them again and again makes us play them better and better, more and more grooving. As Chel offered me to play piano solos in some tunes, because of Yow's absence. Oh, piano is all mighty, as people say. If only I could play it well. If only I could read music notes fluently. If only I could sing songs better...  So many desires come up again and again. All of these might be driving me forward with music. Music is so powerful.....  Never miss it. C'est la vie!
