GREEN TEA CONCERT / AWAY FROM VOCAL LESSON
Green Tea to have its concert in Urawa on Nov. 11. Audience might be of local senior people of high society. 15 songs. We should sing 3 of them without music notes. I am supposed to play the harmonica and some percussion things in "Ue-wo-Muite-Arukoh" and "Otemoyan". I am not confident in my Alto part of some songs yet. Keiko-sensei knows well every part of us, and told me not to sing where I am not confident in taking accurate pitches. Final practice will be next Wednesday (Nov. 1). Green Tea is consisiting of 8 people. 4 of them are graduates from music universities. Besides, all members except me are well-trained piano players. Keiko-sensei looks like an ambitious leader, leading the singing band to any international competition available. Singing in Green Tea is not the same as singing in The Compact. Seems to me that I am doing a completely different thing here. Surviving Green Tea is my crucial issue, especially to become a well-accepted Alto singer. Really interested in singing. Gone away from Ebichan's vocal lesson due to some reasons of my own, including financial one. He is a good instructor, who knows what is the best to do for each client. I learned at his studio for 3 months. There I've got what for and how to do "vocal lesson" in some way, which might be his way/style, which he has ever learned from his instructors so far. 2006-10-26 22:59:11 GMT
