Bought a songbook of The Beach Boys. Wanted to know the structure of their chorus sounds. Wanted to know their chord progression. Just tries one of them, California Girls, which Chel sometimes played and showed how its chords work. Last year, if my memory is right,  Chel once sang a song of them, Surfer Girl. He also showed me how to play chords of the song on my piano. It was a beautiful song.

Surfer Girl : Its chord progression was along to the chords of the song. Have got to know the chorus requires accurate pitches with no vibrato. That sounds more beutifully.

Songs for my students: I tried two songs in my classes. First one begins with the words, "Row, row, row your boat, gently down the stream... Second one is "London bridge is falling dow..." Sleeping students also joined us. Singing songs might work and cheers up the class.
