In our school, the PTA is a group made up of parents, teachers, school officials, and other community members. Together we work to provide the students of Komarek with additional events and programs that further their educational experience. We also provide services to teh school and its students.
* To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community, and place of worship.
* To raise the standards of home life.
* To secure adequate laws for the care and protection of children and youth.
* To bring into closer relation the home and school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
* To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social, and spiritual education.
The Komarek PTA sponsors special events and programs for the students. Here is a partial listing of the activities that the Komarek PTA are involved in:

You can do as much or as little as you would like. Just because you become a member of the Komarek PTA does not mean that you must attend every meeting and function. Even the president doesn't have to do that. But, by becoming a member, you show your support of the PTA and the programs that we support and provide.
As you can see, the Komarek PTA is a very active VOLUNTEER organization. We are always looking for and welcoming any participation from PTA members, families, and the North Riverside and Broadview communities. You chose the level of participation that is comfortable for you.
