| It is not easy to write about myself. This will be second try to plan to do it and it is not working so far. I am 23 now (well it is actually 24 ... :), was born on Dec 4th, 1977 in a small Village Telizhentsi, about 160 km to the south of Kyiv. Spent my first seven years there, and went to school. We also spent some time living in Kyiv during this period trying to get rooted in the capital. Did not work, plus I do not remember a lot about that (virtually just one thing - as in my first appearance to the big City kindergarden, I ate a lot of cherries (I usually eat it with bones), and got sick (I take out previous edition of this sentence .... :))))))). Tough ... As I got seven, we moved 8 km forward to the north :) - to the Town of Tetiyiv, district centre. There I lived until the 1994, when being 16 y.o. I finished school with a gold medal. Not a lot to tell and be proud of during this period. But I read lot (actually I read most of the literature so far being in school), I played in orchestra for two years, played harmonika (bayan) for 6 months, took part in biathlon sport section to get free plastic skies etc. etc. Drank a lot of different bad things during last years in school. In 1994, being 16 I started my independent life - I become a student of National University of Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. The best years of my life so far - 'free and proud without material rstrictions ...'. That was the start of my 6 years life in Kyiv - the beautiful capital of Ukraine. This is very big period of my life, full of important events - new friends, relations, first real love, first job, money, fun, beer, studying etc. I will not go further as it won't help, but rather will try to give a feel about it via photos. I guess I've taken a lot from those times, friends being the biggest asset .... plus experience to survive and of course some knowledge (few drops ...) I got my Bachelors in Economics in 1998 and started my work in Procter & Gamble Ukrainian office (see CV for work hystory). So that was two years of a good experience and a great fun. I met great people and had great fun, gains excellent work experience - photos will tell the best ... Actually one can easily find traces of 'P&G literature language school' style on this site :))) In 2000 as P&G Ukraine has been merged with Russian office, I have been moved to UK to work for the C&EE region. There I have started to develop this site - great help for me being abroad. UK are beautiful countries - its small towns, magnificent scineries I enjoyed the most. Being a village boy :) I really adore Scotland and Wales the most. Hope to come travelling there soon. And of course its Royal Majesty England with Oxford and Widsor being to jewells I likes the most... Food is crap by the way :))). After 1.5 years in UK and moved over to Moscow, Russia, and as of Mar'02 I am working in P&G Eastern Europe. Now I have a chance few sentences here. As the cycle of my life is coming back to the start. After 2 years of travelling I am coming back to Ukraine. Unfortunately, I had to leave P&G - with my desire to go back home being one of the reasons. Time will show if I made it right or wrong. But I will never regret, and I will always remeber ... just keeping in touch with people I respect adn value - that the way I am used to do things. But now there is new blank page. I need to feel the blood and get some fresh one, as I have got to the point when I stopped to enjoy life, work (85% of my life :)) and lost all motivation. I do not like changes in myself - so I cut the vein, as in old good times (as siad - some people got better then, so you know ...). I hope to have some time to write separately about this last 4 years. But I know I won't do it, so for now that' it .... to be continued .... |
