| The Kolomoki Society shall have a President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer. Optional positions include Editor, Assistant Editor, and Board of Directors. The Kolomoki Archaelogical Society, Inc., hereafter referred to as the Society, will not tolerate any illegal activity by members, nor the displaying, buying, or selling of any artifact known to be illegally acquired. Members violating Society By-Laws may be expelled without refund of dues from the Society by a majority vote of officers and the Board of Directors. The admistration for The Kolomoki Society, Inc. will be nominated by the board. All standing oficers are also board members. A representative program is to be started by recommendation of board members. Representatives can be voted in as directors when and if needed. Representatives don't have voting powers. Society elections and meetings shall be announced on this website and by newsletter. Special meetings held by Society officers and directors need to be called when and where it would be most convenient for the majority to attend. Any officer or director can petition the President for a special meeting and will be held at the President's discretion. Two signatures shall be required on all Society checks. Authorized persons will be chosen by the officers and Board of Directors. No Society member shall use Society finances, this website, or the newsletter to promote a personal business interest. Ads may be sold to defray newsletter cost. Meeting displays must be prehistoric or Early American artifacts or something directly related. Fossils and Historic artifacts will also be allowed. Displaying of reproductions or questionable material will not be allowed at Society meetings. The Society reserves the right to change or modify these By-Laws at any time by a majority vote of officers and directors without prior notice to general membership.
