The development of Aikido SHIODA Sensei Joy (09/09/1915 - 17/07/1994)
It was born the 9 of September of 1915. It entered the Dojo de Ueshiba Sensei at the age of 18 years in 1933 and one trained like Uchi-Deshi during eight years. In 1941, during the war, it lived in Taiwan, Borneo, Célebes... Just a short time after the war, Shioda Sensei left the Dojo de Ueshiba Sensei and undertook the work to disclose and to spread the Aikido through Japan. In 1954, the "Live Society Extension of Japan" invited to all the disciplines of Budo to take part in a great demonstration where the Aikido presented/displayed by Shioda Sensei caused an enormous impression.
