these fotos aren't really representative of uruguay but they were my favorite
colonia was the location of our first stay in the country
i think it was about a 4 hour ferry from buenos aires
the portenos (pronounce the n like nya) who are from b.a. are the major source of tourist revenue
therefore everything was expensive and tagged at argentine prices
oh yeah...the finer restaraunts charge to use their dishes...kinda like like an included tip
ask before you order
still....
it was definitely a beautiful town to visit
