HE WAS A GREAT FRIEND

"Minnis Glascoe Evans"

Sent by GOD on March 25, 1918  Taken Home on April 18, 2001

Glascoe as I have always known him by was a very good friend , & I worked for him for several years until we changed places & he worked for me. I knew him before I went to the mill to work. He operated  Evans Automobile & Wrecker Service, and He worked on my first car. We knew what to expect from each other & our friendship never lost because of our positions in the Steel Mill. Glascoe would reach way down in his pockets to help anyone. I really don't know of anyone who didn't like him. He was like a cuddle bear and yet a firm hand at doing his job. I like all who knew him will miss him very much. I know that the first thing he did in Heaven was to check out the coffee pot and the skillets to cook his taters in. But seriously, Glascoe never knew an enemy. So as another brother has left to be in the Kingdom Of Heaven, I say "well done my friend while you were here. I will miss you very much..
