The birth of this website is marked by an interesting assignment by my Software Engineering lecturer, Dr. Edmond Prakash "What is this site about anyway?" Interesting stuff! Complementing perfectly with its main purpose as an academic channel for my Software Engineering Course which I am undertaking are some lighter sides which introduces to you a lil about me! "So, who are you then?" , you might ask. My name is Ko Kok Leong, Ryan. I am presently a student in the Nanyang Technological University. And yes, you mmight have guessed it by now, I am a student in the School of Computer Engineering. My school exposed students like me to numerous hands-on experieces with both the areas of hardware and of course, software. And during that time, the software assignments are always guilty of taking a heavy toll of my brain cells. Why? It was because I had no proper knowledge and concepts of strategies and steps for creating successful projects. Sleepness nights and stressed-up faces were a common sight on days before datelines. With such a sad but strong testimony, the importance of good software engineering can never ever, never ever be understated. So, if you are always guilty of : 1) nosediving into your projects, 2) mad rushes before datelines, 3) costly errors that often jeopardise your health or work. 4) anything that doesn't sound like good software engineering practicethat you can recall now, 5) All of the above.
