Hi, All! As I promised to myself, I have gone to a camping/hiking trip and a fly-fishing trip. The camping trip was to Big Sur, along the central California Coast. It was very pretty. The fishing trip was to Mammoth Lakes in the central eastern California. I mainly fished in Hot Creek, a premier fly fishing creek in California.
My work is progressing nicely as well. My salary at UCSF is paid by Radiation Monitoring Devices, a company near Boston, and they are trying to submit a grant proposal on November 15. They want me to produce some results (some images from the medical imaging system I have been working on last couple of years) so that they can put the result in the proposal. I am SO close to getting the first image as of today.
At the end of the month, I am flying to Seattle for a conference. After the conference, I am flying up to Vancouver to see a friend and spend a few days there. I am looking forward to the trip. I am itching to do something artistic. I will see if I can get around to doing so in near future.
