| Mao Yenrai, leader of the Red Dragon Syndicate, has signed a truce with the white tigers rival gang. A man named Vicious comes in and kills both leaders of the syndicates in retaliation for the truce. Spike and Jet find that Mao Yenrai has a 28 million woolong bounty. Unaware of his death, Spike decides that he wants to go out and get the bounty, despite Jet's decision that it's a bad idea. Faye also decides to go out to get the bounty, and finds some information saying that he will be at the opera. Faye goes to the opera, and is kidnapped by Vicious and his crew. Spike goes to visit Annie, an old friend, who tells him that Mao Yenrai is dead. Spike decides to find the killer, when all the sudden Faye calls up. She tells them that she has been kidnapped and will be killed unless they come get her. Spike decides to go get her, and comes face to face with Vicious at an abandoned cathedral. He sees that Faye is in danger and tries to shoot Vicious. A major shootout ensues, ending with Vicious stabbing Spike out the window. As Spike falls he is visited by images of his tragic past, like his old friendship with Vicious and the women that used to sing to him to make him better. He wakes up a few days later and hears Faye singing. He tells her that she sings off key, and Jet can plainly see that Spike is back to his old self again. |

Perhaps, but he was a beast that lost his fangs, that's why he had to die Spike; and that's why you have to die.
