Concrete Ponds
Home
Concrete were the standard for many years.
Concrete is a wet form of construction that is labor intensive and involves the use of shuttering to contain the concrete until it has dried. Concrete is versatile can be used to create wide variety of water featured needs skilled installation. They can be custom built to fit any landscape, but design and construction cost can be expensive this will depend on which country are you from.  But dure to climatic changes it can eventually cause to cracks to form and your pond will develop leaks.  So make sure it is thick enough for the water volume.  Some do put tiles and bricks to make it stronger.  Concrete is fine where there is a good solid foundation underneath and water table is not close to surface, but where there is a chance of movement it can crack, this will allow the water to seep away, and if the crack is very fine it is difficult to trace for repair. But properly intalled it is very durable.
