| Welcome to our online sales list. Look around and feel free to email us with your comments & suggestions. We are in the process of adding new pictures and hope to have up a picture for each of our Nubians! We began raising dairy goats in 1974 with the purchase of a little Saanen kid. After a few years of having Saanens, Alpines, LaManchas and Nubians, we decided we needed to focus on only one breed. We joined the ADGA in 1977 and in 1978, we started raising and breeding only Nubians with the purchased of our first buck: *B Hidden Meadows Prince Nikolai (a Barnaby Buck grandson) from Harry and Karen Hermansen (Fergason). Our bloodlines today include: My-Enchanted-Acres, Trillium Trails, Sand-Bur-Kids, Kismet, Kastdemur, H. Homestead, Longmans, Regehrs, Painters and Firebird. We won the raffle buck at the 2004 Roseburg Triple Crown!! His name is: *B ELK BROOK ES LEANN'S SEQUENCE. Thank you Donna Brewster for donating & breeding this great guy! Through Sequence, we have brought in Lynnhaven lines. We have purchased: ELK BROOK LAE BERRY EXPEDITION from Donna this past spring (2007) and will be adding Lakeshore-Farms lines in as well. We strive for strong, hardy and milky does. We cull quite heavily each year, only keeping the very best! We have limited space now, and plan to keep the herd down. In the past we have participated in a lot of the ADGA's programs: DHIA milk test (for 8 years), some showing in Washington & Oregon, classification (the first 5 years). Our animals are fed COB, black oil sunflower seeds, calf manna (when milking) alfalfa and local grass & clover hay. They are vaccinated with Covexin 8, and Bo-Se. We worm twice a year. We raise our kids on milk replacer and purchase new animals from only clean herds. A $50 deposit will hold your choice of kid. The balance being due before the kid is picked up or delivered. We do reserve the right to retain any kids for our own herd replacement, but they will be marked. POSTAL Money Orders only! Deposits will be refunded if we are unable to provide your choice of kid. We are always open to barters and trades. |
