Chapter 10


	Ness and Poo widened their eyes with a mixture of amazement and shock. Paula and Jeff from a far distance stared at The Master Hand with pure fear as Nikana gritted her teeth in anger. She tried to bang her fists against the glass cage, but the cage itself was unbreakable.
	*Welcome to my little Domain, friends.* The Master Hand greeted the visitors with a sneer and turned to the two boys. *So you both really think that you can stand a fight or a chance against me, do you? You got guts, little boys . . . *
	"More guts than a talking thing who wouldn't even try to evade one's homeworld." Poo replied in a serious, but challenging tone. "You are the coward that hides yourself and send people to endanger their lives instead of yours. What a pathetic warrior you make out of yourself!"
	*I like your attitude,* The Master Hand said with a telepathic laugh, *but your bravery will be easily destroyed and so will your Earth and your pathetic country. I don't have time for this bull talk so let's start the fight!* 
	Without hesitating, Poo summoned PSI Starstorm Alpha as Ness called for PSI Rocking Omega. However, The Master Hand held open its palm as it absorbed their PSI powers. Poo and Ness reacted with shock. It then clenched itself up in a fist and rocketed at the two young fighters, nailing them with incredible force.

	"NOOO!" Paula cried as she watched the battle in horror. "That's not fair!"
	"Hey Paula, can you do me a simple favor?" Jeff asked her. "Please stop using your high-pitched voice so frequently! You're destroying my ear drums and it's not helping to defeat The Master Hand."
	Paula glared at Jeff, but quickly turned to watch the battle. She witnessed how Poo and Ness were pathetically losing to The Master Hand. The girl could bare to watch no more, picked up the baseball that Ness had given her and threw it at the glass cage with all of her might. Suddenly, Paula spotted a small crack in the glass cage.
	Nikana watched Paula and then cocked an eyebrow up. She suddenly smiled and noticed how the baseball made a small crack.
	"That's a good idea!" Nikana exclaimed as she raised her hand and snapped her fingers.
	Suddenly, her staff appeared in her hand as she placed it in a resting position. Paula shot Nikana an even more ticked off look.
	"You had a staff with you all long?!" Paula yelled at her. "Why didn't you tell-"
	Just then, Nikana brought the blade of her staff crashing into the cage wall, but not a crack appeared on the glass. Paula grabbed the staff out of the girl's hands, picked up Ness' baseball, and tossed it up in the air. The girl remembered what Ness had told her and kept her eye on the ball. At an instant, she swung the staff and it made contact with the baseball. 
	CRRRAAAAACCKKK!!!
	The ball flew and smashed the glass wall. A big hole formed from where the ball had made an impact. Nikana and Jeff stared at Paula with an extreme, stunned expressions. However, Paula was not finished with her rage. She took Nikana's staff and bashed a bigger hole, freeing herself and her friends from the cage. 
	Once out of the cage, Paula charged at The Master Hand at full speed with the staff held high. She leaped in the air and brought the blade of the staff into the back of The Master Hand. The Master Hand roared in pain and anger as the girl ran to Ness' side. The boy and Poo shot a dead surprised look at the girl.
	"Oh my God  . . . !" Ness exclaimed at Paula's behavior. "Talk about PMS!"
	"No kidding." Paula agreed as the girl gritted her teeth. "No one messes with my friends, my people, my planet, or even my boyfriend!" 
	Jeff ran over to the group and pulled out his Gaia Beam. Paula glanced at him and asked, "Where's Nikana?"
	"She said that she ‘had some unfinished business to take care of.'" Said Jeff. "Nikana also noted that she had also thought of a plan to destroy The Master Hand and will join us shortly-"
	Suddenly, Nikana's staff fell off the back off from The Master Hand's back and flew into Paula's direction. Jeff quickly reacted by pushing the girl out of the way. The staff's blade barely touched Paula's head and it fell into the endless pit below the platform. Ness glared at The Master Hand as it laughed. The boy jumped in the air and shouted, "PK Thunder!"
	A ball of electric energy appeared from the top of Ness' cranium and it circled behind the boy. However, before the ball could hit Ness, The Master Hand struck him with its fingers' close together and stretched out.  The boy flew past his friends and fell near the edge of the platform. 
	Paula gasped, ran to Ness, and kneeled by his side. His black disc eyes were partly closed and he blinked weakly at the worried, depressed girl.
	"Please Ness," she begged him, "you have to get up! Don't give up, Ness! I know you can do it!"
	The boy frowned as he closed his eyes. He refused to open them again and sighed weakly as if it was his last breath.
	"Nooo . . ." Paula cried as she glanced behind her.
	The girl witnessed the desperate battle between The Master Hand and her remaining friends. Jeff dodged and leaped out of the way from the attacks of The Master Hand as Poo slashed at it with his Sword of Kings. Paula returned her attention back to Ness and slipped her arm behind his back. She pulled his upper body up and gently shook him.
	"Ness  . . . ?" Paula called to him. "Can you hear me  . . . ?"

	As Ness closed his eye, an image was pictured in his mind. He saw Nikana standing before him with a serious expression on her stern face.
	"Ness, you must remain strong." She said in an encouraging, but soothing voice. "I am watching your progress from The Master Hand's orb while I hack into it. You must defend and hang in there. I have just gained access to something that will surely defeat The Master Hand for good. I am also going to destroy this orb once I'm finished with it.
	"So Ness, I asked you to get the heck up off that tush of yours and fight that psycho! You are the Universe' only hope. If you get out of this alive, this will be one heck of an adventure to tell to your children and grandchildren."
	The voice faded and the boy slowly fell back into consciousness. He sat all the way up without Paula's support.
	"You're back!" The girl cried out with happiness and hugged the boy tight.
	"I must get over there and help Poo and Jeff." Ness said as he cast PSI Lifeup Beta on himself.
	They both stood up and ran to the battle scene. Paula followed close by the boy and joined her group of friends. Suddenly, a large shadow hovered over them. Poo quickly glanced up and shouted, "Look out!"
	The Master Hand fell from the air and was ready to crush its victims. The group of friends tried to get out of the way, but it seemed as though that it was too late. Suddenly, The Master Hand caught on fire and missed its targets.
	A young man walked over to the group and stood firmly, with his sword and shield ready in his hands. He had pointed ears, golden blonde hair, and sparkling blue eyes. His arms and legs were muscular and he wore a long green hat, a green tunic and light brown leather boots. The young man held a handsome, heroic appearance.
	"Have no fear!" The young man said with proudness. "Link, The Hero of Time from Hyrule is here!"
	*WHAT?!* The Master Hand roared. *What the **** are you doing here, Link?! I enslaved you and you lost the battle! Back off, Elf Boy because you're next after when I finish with the little boy!*
	"I don't think so!" A deep, strong challenging voice called out.
	"PIKACHU!" Screamed another voice.
	Another muscular man, who was a little bit more older than Link walked over to the group. Behind the man was a small yellow creature with pointed ears, red cheeks, a jagged tail, and stubby short legs. Ness, Poo, Jeff, and Paula examined the new challengers approaching as more joined in. One was a green dinosaur, another was a small man that looked like Metal Mario, but was the actual figure, and the other was a pink balloon shaped creature. Then another man that wore green overalls and was taller than Mario walked over and stood beside Mario.
	 *What the-* The Master Hand yelled in frustration. *Pikachu? Captain Falcon? Mario? Yoshi? Kirby? Luigi? This has to be the work of that tramp, Nikana!"
	"You're correct, you abusive, dictating glove." Said Nikana who suddenly stood behind the group of fighters and walked in front of them.
	Slowly from underneath her cloak, Nikana revealed a glowing orb that she had tucked under her arm. The teenage girl grinned mischievously and daringly.
	*You better hand me that orb back to me, tramp!* The Master Hand yelled at Nikana. *You think that you can destroy me with about thirteen of your fighters?*
	"That's twelve including me, numbnuts." Nikana corrected. "And yes Mr. Hand, your God days are over! I have the power to destroy you now!"
	The Master Hand laughed as it quickly shot up in the air and nailed the girl. Everyone gasped with shock and fear. With its fingertips, The Master Hand grinded Nikana to the ground repeatedly. The orb fell out from Nikana's hands and rolled to Ness' feet. The Master Hand finished and then screamed, *Where did you hide that orb, Nikana?!*
	"It's over here!" Ness called out as he pulled out his Gusty baseball bat.
	The boy automatically knew what he had to do. He slammed his bat into the orb with two strong hits. The glowing orb shattered to pieces and was completely destroyed.
	*NOOOOO!* The Master Hand roared in a weak telepathic voice as Nikana weakly lift her head up and smiled hopefully. *HOW DARE YOU, NESS! HOW DARE YOU!*
	"The Master Hand is weak now!" Nikana yelled in a dry voice. "Hit it with whatever you can!"
	The group of fighters nodded. 
	"Falcon PUNCH!" Captain Falcon yelled as he slammed a flaming punch into The Master Hand.
	"Boomerang throw!" Link shouted as he threw his boomerang with all of his might.
	"Pika!" Pikachu screamed as a lightening bolt came crashing down onto The Master Hand. 
	"Hip drop!" Said Yoshi as he jumped and landed on his head into The Master Hand.
	"Let's go!" Mario shouted as he and Luigi did some upper cut punches.
	Kirby leaped up high in the air, pulled out a blade and sliced through The Master Hand as he landed. Finally, Ness called out "PK Thunder!", shocked himself and slammed into The Master Hand while electrocuted. The large glove roared in agony and fell to the ground with a loud BANG! It refused to move and the fighters examined the corpse. 
	Suddenly, the platform the fighters stood on shook as if an earthquake was occurring. Boulders fell from the ceiling and Nikana ran over to the fighters.
	"Use these devices to teleport back to your worlds!" She instructed as she handed them a small mine-like device. "Don't worry about your home world. Because Ness and the destruction of the orb, your home worlds have return back to their peaceful state. Also, your people have returned there as well. Hurry because this building is on self destruction!"
	The fighters said their last farewell to Nikana and thanked Ness for his help of saving the Universe. They teleported and disappeared from the group. After all seven fighters left, Nikana was hit by a small boulder on the head and collapsed to the ground.
	"Nikana!" Ness shouted as he kneeled by her and shook her.
	"She's unconscious!" Jeff noted in panic. "What should we do?"
	"We have no other choice, but to teleport her back to Earth with us." Ness said as he struggled to pull the girl's body up. "Jeff, hit the button and everyone grabbed each others hand."
	Poo, Paula, Jeff, Ness, and Nikana took each others' hand as Jeff hit the button on the teleporting device. Soon, the group disappeared and was on their way home.
