K.H.V. or the Koi Herpes Virus has been confirmed from koi from a pet shop in North Broward. All koi in the pond died in 21 days after the water warmed. Be warned Quarantine new fish is the only way to protect your self and fish. Do not trust any one selling koi especially from unknown sources.

At our last meeting the club voted to donate $500 to the AKCA KHV research fund.

Congratulations to Gordon and Adrienne Nash who have begun construction on their new 20,000 gallon pond being built by Josh Rogers of Koi Scapes.
