| Just as Link is Hyrule's Hero of Time, Tress is the Hero of Destiny. Although she was taken in by the wise men of Hyrule to train in the ways of the warrior, she had parents and a sister named Cassie. Tress and Link were best friends and went on many adventures together. At a young age though, Tress was forced to partake in a seven year slumber, honoring the original Hero of Time. It was during these years that Ganon launched his attack on Hyrule. Link managed to save the kingdom, but Tress' parents and sister were burned to death in a fire. When Tress awoke from her sleep, she learned of this and also that Link had been lost at sea. She began training again, determined not to let what happened to her happen to anyone else. For a brief while, she was reunited with Link when her mind was transfer to Valerie's body, but unfortunately she had to return to Hyrule, retaining only a few memories of another great adventure. |
