| Tundra was owned and loved by Martin and Laurna Paetz of Auroragold Kennels in Red Deer, Alberta. She was the first golden I had met in person, and I knew the day I met her that it was the breed for me. She was so sweet and calm and gentle. She had had a litter of puppies 13 days prior and wanted nothing more than to show off her beautiful babies and solicit for affection. That day, I put down a deposit for my first Golden Retriever, Ch. Auroragold Sun on Sydney Lake CD AGN TD VCI. My dad was so amazed with her beauty that he told me on the ride home that if my new puppy was 1/2 as beautiful as her mom, that I'd have a gorgeous dog. Over the last 5 1/2 yrs of her life, Tundra held a special part of my heart. She was a true ambassator for the breed and was loved by many. She was a wonderful mom and grandmother and she will be very missed. We will always love you, Sweet Angel Tundra. |
