HISTORY

To bring everyone up to date: KBR started as a comic strip composed in our junior year of high school. Born from the fiery hell known as Advanced Biology, it soon grew to be more than its graphite and tree beginnings. A movie was filmed in the berg of Hendersonville documenting the street scene and one young racers quest. Its dub? Hendorush. Long story short the movie didn't turn out that well and we moved on to other things. But KBR was still a mainstay in our vocabulary, and soon became a sort of not so serious team.

Come senior year. Three high school kids stranded in a retirement town without a paddle. Nothing to do but race of course! One problem: no fast cars. So all we could do was cruise Patton Ave. That all turned around when the Saab showed up. Yes it's a Saab...and yes, it looks like a friggin egg, but hey it was turbo and the fastest thing we had. So races were won and lost, cars were crippled and destroyed, and cops got to fill their quotas. Patton, while fun, just lost its touch after a while and boredom sunk in yet again. So what's next on the roster? Legal racing!

We joined up with the local autocross club, the HSCC, and have been racing in it for over a year now. Other members of our school race there as well, most notably Kyle. Our driving was just begining to improve when college hits. So the team was disbanded temporarily and we are all going our seperate ways now to "further our education." However the site remains and is still being updated regularly. We'll see where our roads take us from here...
