Maria Regina Council was founded in 1999 through the efforts of a small group of men wanting to enlist their services for the parish of Maria Regina Church. The Knights of Columbus is the largest organization of Catholic men in the world, serving their church, their community, and their country. The council works closely with Maria Regina Parish of Seaford, providing funds and manpower for various projects. Maria Regina council was number 1 in New York state for recruitment of new members, and has grown from the original 68 members in 1999 to over 330 members as of March of 2002.
