Our $100.00 winner for the month of October was Bonnie Easton. Bill McGovern, Marge Larivey and Martha Morczek were the $25.00 winners. Congratulations to all of you who won. Drawings will be held after each K of C monthly meetings. For those of you who like to by raffle tickets, the Knights still have a lot of Charitable & Benevolent (C&B) tickets left. There’s a $25,000.00 grand prize and 25, $1,000.00 prizes. Can’t beat that for only a $1.00 a ticket or $6.00 for a book of twelve. Drawings will be held on December 1, 2001. Contact Ron Gordon at 376-3984 OOOOOH, IT TASTE SOO GOOD! That’s how are recent chicken bar-b-que went, at St. Mary’s church. The K of C raised over $500.00 for the Seminarian Fund. For everybody out there who bought the chicken, Thank You. We’re also very sorry that we didn’t have enough to go around to everybody, but guess what? That’s right, there’s another chicken bar-b-que right around the corner at St. Martin’s church, in Port Leyden, on Sunday November 4. We hope to see you there. Did I here you say you’re tired of chicken? Well, that’s OK because on Sunday October 21, there will be a pot roast dinner at the Port Leaden fire hall from Noon till all served. Worried about all this food going to all the wrong spots? Don’t be, because we’re a step ahead of you. Friday, October 26, there’s a Halloween Dance Party at St. Mary’s church hall in C’ville. From 7:00 PM - 10:00 pm, for all ages. Come in costume or not, it’s up to you. There’s going to be a DJ playing all of you favorite music and prizes for the best costumes. Don’t be late because judging starts at 8:00. Can’t make it to the Halloween party, ok. On Sunday December 16, St. Mary’s church is going to have a Christmas party. We’re going to see if we can get Santa to stop by for a little while and hand out gifts to all the good little boys and girls. A covered dish would be greatly appreciated. And parents, you can bring a gift for Santa to give to your children. Are you Knighted? If so, there will be a Knights of Columbus 4th degree meeting on Friday, November 16th. Hope to see you there. On October 6th and 7th, The Knights participated in a right to life fund raiser. Thank you, who all helped out. There was a former District Deputy dinner in Mannsville, on October 13th. All past and present Grand Knights and District Deputies attended.
