Are you an Officer with
the K of C ?
If
you are one of the council officers, we will be holding the installation of
officers at our next meeting in November.
All officers are asked to attend.
It’s that time of year again, C & B raffle tickets are
available and so are the 225 Raffle tickets.
Contact any one of the officers and they will be glad to get you
some.
The C & B tickets, you can’t beat,
$1.00 a ticket or $6.00 for a book of 14.
And the 225 raffle are $20.00 a ticket, but you have several chances to
win. There are 10 weekly drawings and the final drawing
will be held at the Christmas party. If
you win any time through out this time period your name goes back in for the
next drawing. We had several people
last year win 2, 3 and even 4 times.
The first drawing will be held October 14.
On Sunday, October 20, St
Hedwig’s church, in Houseville, will be celebrating its 75th anniversary. Fr. Pascal will be in town to perform the
celebration at 10:30 mass. There will
also be a 4th degree color guard at the mass and a Dinner Dance to follow.
Everybody is welcome to attend the
celebration and if you are a 4th degree and not busy that day, your presence
there would be greatly appreciate
As everybody can see, we are kind of empty on our trading
post. If you have something you want to
get rid of or are looking for something to buy, let us know and we’ll put it in
the news letter for you.
