What’s New with the Knights of Columbus?

                                       

The K of C meetings are held every second Wednesday of the month at 8:00 in St. Mary’s church hall.

Chicken BBQ time

 

Sunday, November 9, the K of C will be having a chicken BBQ at St. Mary’s church from 8:30 until gone.   Cost Of Chicken will be $4.00 for a half and $6.00 for a dinner.

 

 

Halloween Party

 

           Friday, October 24, the Knights of Columbus are hosting their annual Halloween party for kids of all ages, from 7:00 – 9:00 pm  at St. Mary’s church hall in Constableville.  There will be a hayride prior to the party from 6:00 – 7:00 pm (weather permitting).  There will be prizes awarded to the scariest, best dressed, best Saint and many more.  Admission is free for all who come in costume and $1.00 if not.   DJ services are provided by RPM.  Refreshments will be available.  And maybe a surprise or two.  

    

Raffles

 

The C &B  raffle tickets are still available.  If you haven’t purchased any yet, just get ahold of one of the officers and they will set you right up with some. 

 

Cub Scout Pack 51 has a new roll model

 

Starting in February 2004, South Lewis council 7794 will become the new charter for Cub Scout pack 51, here in Constableville.  This is a great opportunity for both organizations to expand their resources throughout the community. 

 

Food Drives for the holidays

 

St. Mary’s church will have a canned food drive for the holiday season.  There will be a box located in the back of the church that you will be able to drop your donations into. 

          Also, Cub Scout pack 51 will be holding a canned food drive for Thanksgiving.   Drop off points will be at Quick-n-Easy, Walsh’s Store, Mohawk Hill Redemption & the Methodist church. 

          Both organizations would like to thank you for your donations.
