Services for Anthony J. Lutkus, 82, of Willowick, will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Justin Martyr Church, 35781 Stevens Blvd., Eastlake.


Mr. Lutkus died Sept. 15, 2000, at his residence.

Born July 12, 1918, in Dubois, Pa., he lived in Cleveland before moving to Willowick 48 years ago.

He was a past Grand Knight of Magnificat Council Knights of Columbus, a member of the Cardinal Newman 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, T.R.W. Rod and Reel Club and T.R.W. Baseball League. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and camping. He was an Army Air Corp veteran of World War II.

Mr. Lutkus was the Supervisor for T.R.W. in Euclid for 40 years, retiring in 1980.
Survivors are his wife of 59 years, Marguerite; son, Kenneth (Joanne) of Anaheim, Calif.; daughters, Joan (Ron) Stanley of Macedonia, Ruth Zadel of Greenfield, Wisc., Joyce (Bob) Phyfer of Willowick and Marie (Bob) Ludwig of Willowick; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Joseph of Wickliffe; and sisters, Evelyn Lukas of Richmond Heights, Dolores Katsis of Corona, Calif. and Helen Howard of Scarborough, Maine.

Friends may call 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday at Jack Monreal Funeral Home of Willowick, 31925 Vine Street. Burial will be in All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township.

The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society.
