Mass of Christian Burial for Jerome J. Grdina, 74, of
Willowick, a former office service manager, will be 11:30 a.m. Friday at St. Mary
Magdalene Church, 460 E. 321 St., Willowick.
Mr. Grdina died Dec. 30, 2002, at LakeWest Hospital in Willoughby.
Born Oct. 2, 1928, in Cleveland, he lived there before moving to Willowick 44 years
ago.
He was a member of Knights of Columbus. He served in the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Grdina was formerly employed by Sherwin-Williams Corp.
Survivors are his wife, Marie (nee Mirt); children, Jerry (Joan), Linda (Tom)
Kostelnik, Tom (Sue), Rick (Cathy), Diane (Michael) Coon and David; 11 grandchildren; and
siblings, Victor, Gertrude Shirgalis and Marie Wagoner.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Joyce Durra.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at The Dan Cosic Funeral Home, 28890 Chardon
Road, Willoughby Hills. Burial will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon Township. |
