Progress is going well for our Council. We experienced a very productive meeting in January. I extend my gratitude to the members who are actively supporting our endeavors and commend them for their time and effort as they pursue the goals set forth in our agenda. As always, I encourage all inactive members to rejoin our ranks, roll up their sleeves, and help us as we do "Christ's work".

     I am please to announce that this council has elected to open each meeting with the recitation of the Rosary. Supreme has promoted this over the years; may we all draw strength through our prayers.

     Four committees were organized. I am previleged to announce the formation of: the Retention Committee, Chaired by Father Jack Kita, The Bereavement Committee, chaired by Brother Joe Bohr, The Marion Prayer Icon Committee, chaired by Brother John O'Neil and The ARC Campaigne Committee, Chaired by Brother Vince Quick. Each Chairperson will be contacting members to ask for assistance with their delegated tasks. I am asking you to support them.

     Finally, discussed at the January meeting, then carried out a week later was the membership drive for the new council at the Church of the Ressurection in Muncy, PA. This successful drive was made possible through the hard work and effort our District Chaplain and District Deputy, repectively. Father Mike McCormick and Brother Ed Mertes coordinated and carried out the project with the help of knights from this council. We look forward to seeing this new council chartered.
