Pro Life Memorial
Our council has approved building a pro-life memorial for the church grounds. The original idea was conceived years ago. Funding of the project has yet to be resolved, although the proceeds of some events, such as the upcoming wine tasting and dinner, will go towards its construction. Planning and design work for the proposed memorial for the unborn has been picking up steam in the last few months. A committee led by SK Joe Sadler has been meeting with artist Ken Zarin of St. Marks. The present design under consideration is a large mosaic on the west wall of the church, near the adoration chapel. The mosaic is shown below, and a drawing of its placement on the church also appears.
