Here I've posted some of the stuff I've been messing around with over the past few weeks. I haven't really finished any of them because I've been back at college and its more important to do stuff for that. If I played less videogames maybe I'd get some of these finished!
Bomberman
A hugely inefficient model largely because when I smoothed it too much, and so I lost a lot of the edges I wanted to keep. Worse still, when I smoothed some of the body components I forgot to change it from a NURBS curve to polys, and so when I booleaned the different components together it didn't work properly. Anyway, here's a video of what it finally looked like.
Lizard
I meant to do more with this, and again I shouldn't have smoothed it (or at least when I did actually optimised the model afterwards.) It takes a lot longer to render than a model of its low detail should, but from a still image I think it turned out ok. I won't be finishing it though, so this is all there is. Its more just me playing with the software than anything else.
Currently I am working on doing the Aron Pokemon from the Pokemon games. I want to finish that one without any major mess-ups, and I'm finding it really helps when I have good source material (and when I'm not just making it up as I go along!)
