The Koesy Farm is a beautiful 119 acre ranch located in the heart of the panhandle of the state of Florida, fifty miles north of Panama City in the pine covered woods outside of Vernon, Florida. Forty acres of paddocked coastal, bahia, rye and clover grass bring the richness of the farm into bloom in the early spring. Another 80 acres of wooded pines and live oaks surround the property with a small beautiful lily-laden lake, filled with brim and bass, deep in the heart of the planted slash pine forest that backdrops the panoramic view from the barn and stable facilities. Many animals indigenous to the area include deer, bobwhite, quail, pheasant, giant grey squirrel and many birds that are gorgeous in color throughout the year. Finches, cardinals, bluejays and occasional hummingbirds only add to the serenity of this beautiful farm and ranch.

Mr. Calvin Koesy shares the love and operation of this facility with his wife Mary Jane of fifty one wonderful, Christ-filled years. Their love for each other can be seen in many facets of the farm as they share its beauty with the community, bringing happiness to all that have the chance to visit the ranch and experience their hospitality.

The cattle on the ranch are Charolais, and the herd expands a little each year. The main sire on the premises is "Frasier" and can be seen with his dams: Brook, Jenna, Allison, Suzanna and Barbara. Four bred heifers were brought into the herd last year and within the last two months have added four more healthy calves into the herd as Mr. Koesy moves his herd toward a purebreed registration with the American-International Charolais Association.
