| Movie Critique
In this project, you will critique a movie that is about or includes some topic of physical science. You will find three points of science in the movie and examine whether the science is good or bad. We will be doing this to movies in class, so you will soon have an idea of what is expected when you do it on your own. Before you begin your project, you need to turn in a proposal that outlines which movie you are using and the three points. You may not use a movie that I show in class. Your final product will be a short paper following the format below. This is the outline for your paper; do not turn in your final paper in outline form! This is the common five-paragraph essay, so you are familiar with it. Your support can take the form of original research (see research guidelines) or your original math (working out the problem on your own). Summarize very briefly II, III, IV. B. Summarize the movie. 1. How it presents science. 2. Whether it does the process of science justice, even if the facts are bad. 3.
