Sleeping Mob Cap
Actually, this is what I started out with.  But after one day in a satin lined cap, I knew it wasn't a "good thing" for day wear.

All you have to do to make a sleeping mob cap is make the mob cap above and well, line it in satin.  I used baroque satin, usually around 3 dollars a yard.

OK, how do you line a mobcap?

Easy, first you need a sewing machine (it'll make your life much easier, though I guess heat and bond tape (iron on adhesive webbing) will work as well).  Cut your satin a little bigger than the already cut mobcap. Sew your mobcap and satin right side to right side, just like making a pillow (i.e. shiny and print side in) and make sure to leave a hole so you can turn it right side out!
When you're done, turn in right side out, sew together the hole by hand and punch the ribbon holes and you're set!
