Originally this mean go out get a paisley design handkerchief (or do-rag) and fold it into a triangle put the long side against your forehead and tie the three ends at the nape of your neck. Go on try it! Doesn't work right? Cuz we have that huge curlered knob on the top of the head!!
So, here's the specialized version for curlers: Buy about a 30" of cute breathable fabric from the store. Like, cotton or if you want to splurge some cotton St. Patrick's Day print, but believe me, your head won't be to happy in anything heavier than cotton! Cut it into a square. By now you're saying, ACK, that's way too much! Well, what whould happen if I said to buy less and you had too little, hmmm? If it's way to big, trim it down or hem it. You don't need to hem it, but if you want it to last a long time it might be a good idea. |
