Description:
A Mexican guy, he's about 30 years of age. Working in this bar for nearly 8 years now, he seems like part of the woodwork, part of the familiarity of the place. Dark hair covers his eyes, obscuring most good looks at his face, hiding any one of a dozen emotions those eyes could hold. Usually dressed fairly shabbily, it's mostly overshirts over white undershirts, badly fitting pants, anything to make him less attention worthy. He doesn't mind being memorable, it's the idea of a fanclub that scares him.

Background:
Oldest of four siblings and his father leaving them when Jimmy was only 6, he took on responsibility quickly. His youngest sister had just been born, and he'll always think of her as his shadow the way she'd follow him around like a duckling.

A normal childhood from a single parent household, as he entered high school, he'd already been working for various places, always being paid under the table because of his age. He needed to help out the rest of the family who were only supported by his mother's income. As high school ended and full-time job became his future, a rift split between he and his younger brother.

Angry words were tossed back and forth. Younger brother wanted to go live with the father that had abandoned them all those years ago. Jimmy wanted the family to stay free of the man who couldn't take responsibility for his own kin. Mother had remained silent for weeks, then finally taking in with his brother; she wanted him back, too.

He left then without much else said. The little cash he did have supported his travel halfway across the country. Then he wandered into the bar by the lake. So begins it, Jimmy was 20 when he came to this place.

In the eight years hes spent as bartender for Shadows, he was taken by the owner as a lover, been ghouled, became an alcoholic, recovered, dated one of his co-workers, and buried her. Years later, he dated another of his co-workers, was left by lover and dormitor, and conceived a child with the woman he loves. Their first child, a daughter is to be born soon, but she's missing, and his nightmares taunt him with his ugly past. Dear Jimmy only wishes for their safe return, but is willing to do anything to get it.

You'd probably be the same way if you gave up everything you've ever known for that one person, the love of your life. Let's just hope that he won't have to give everything up, especially his life.
