Camp Life
The camps along the way were amazing in their own right. This huge mobile city moved ahead of us up the road each day and was ready for our arrival that afternoon (or evening, as it may be...) Below are some pics of our campsites. As I was generally too exhausted to do much except shower, eat and collapse in my tent, I never had the presence of mind to take many camp pictures. The following pics are courtesy of Aparna... you go girl!

After a hundred miles, camp could not have looked better! And the beautiful rainbow sort of gave it a nice touch, don't ya think? Delta Junction was lovely with heaps of comfy, soft grass and the weather was just right...

Day 2, we camped at the base of the Gulkana Glacier. You can see camp in the distance and a wicked storm brewing over the glacier. This was the night that many tents flooded and camp was in pandemonium in general. It was pretty hilarious in retrospect and pretty much sucked at the time.
