Flowers in Her Hair

"Flowers in Her Hair"

Flowers in her hair,
Maybe shes not able
To see what I might see
In the face of an angel.
Or to see that I might be
Just a victim of my heart.
Not that she would care,
Putting flowers in her hair.
She plucks them up and puts them there
And like my heart they are laid bare.
Wilting in then sun's bright glare.
I just hope some day she'll see
That she means the world to me.
But maybe she's not trying
To see my soul is flying
Because heaven knows I'm dying
For her loving tender care.
