"Ramblings of a Tired Mind."

Late for an appointment
Calling me,
Nagging.
Time consuming
Wants too much.
It bothers me throughout the day.
Like a creditor calling me,
Nagging.
Tells me I'm due,
Skip a payment at your peril.
In the morning never lets me go,
As if twelve hours isnt enough.
Brings me wonderful dreams.
A smorgasboard of everything I don't have.
Lovely,
Thanks for the reminder.

Even now it wants me.
Come it says,
Have a rest.
Life's great siren.
The longer you fight it
The more it wants you.
It will take everything if you let it.
So if you must,
Then sleep.
But only in moderation.
