Its a new day
I've got another life
So I could try again
To make myself like you
But if I tried with all my might
I'd still never get it right.
Cause no matter how I try
I cant stoop myself to meet you eye to eye.
Well we don't see eye to eye.
And we never will if you dont try.
Because I know I'd rather die
Than try to live another lie.
I'm a new man
I've got a sense of pride.
No more punches pulled
And no holds barred.
I will fight to win
I wont turn the other cheek.
I'd rather keep my pride
And let the world to come go to the meek.
Well we don't see eye to eye
And we never will if you don't try.
Because I know I'd rather die
Than live my second life a lie.
I'm a new man.
I've found a set of wings
To fly away from earth
And all its sufferings.
My wings may cause you pain
To which I can relate
Still theres no hope to lift me up
And I'm soaring on my brand new wings of hate.

And I've come to realize
I soar above you in the skies
Unless this pride within me dies
I will become what I despise.
