In the past
I have tried to make things right
And I kneel
To lift my heart to you.
Now I pray
That you might rid me of this blight.
And I hope that I can be as true
As You.
All my strength
Avails me to no end.
So I need You
As a savior and a friend.
Through thick and thin
You're closer then a brother
And I need no-one other
Than You.
Day to Day
You're growing in my heart.
But in my mind
I know its just the start
And I hope that through Your Son
I may become as one
With You
