Brahmotsavam at Sri Periapiran temple was celebrated with usual religious fervour in the first week of November 2005. The Tirithavari was on 10 November. Devotees from across India and abroad attended the utsavam. Highlights were the vahana utsavam every evening; the detailed sevakalam and saatrumurai at the temple everyday; the ther utsavam on the ninth day of the festival, with participation from all - young and old, men and women and from villages all around.
