| EBay Insanity Let me start by saying, I love EBay, and I hate it. You can spend hours on it, and see everything you could ever imagine, but nothing you need, or are prepared to pay a Four Figure Pricetag for. Today, the 17th of November, 2002, EBI took on a whole new level. I acquired an Analog tape Delay quite a while ago. It didn't work. Something simple wrong with it, to be sure, but it didn't work. I didn't have the time or money to get it finished. Tonight, a whole new level of EBI was reached. I sold the Melos on Ebay, and it got up to $150. For an item that I clearly stated was not working this is something else. I love you Ebay, and I love all you bidders. I give you big kisses...!!! A further update... 29th of November... A positive comment was left on my account by the buyer of the above item. The wrote that the product was "As described". sweet. ========================================================= But, My best find on EBay was a CD entitled "Spirits of the Air, Gremlins of the Clouds", the soundtrack to Alex Proyas' first feature film. I was doubleplus chuffed about the whole thing, as it's been out of print for, like, ten years, and is very hard to come across. It was a shining moment for digital audio. More of my E-Bay diary coming up... stay tuned, and keep watching the bay! [go back to mainpage] |
