Bio:
Worwyk is a one-man project band fronted by Thomas Vitacco, a musician based in the suburbs of Chicago. Tom has been recording demo tapes and CD's since 1989, releasing music under the Worwyk moniker as well as his own name. After playing in a couple of local metal bands during the mid to late eighties, he decided to build a small home studio to record his own music. After 15 years and a lot of equipment changes, he is still working on new tunes. As for the music, Tom plays most of the lead, rhythm and bass guitar parts, although many of his friends have contributed to the songs over the years. All drum parts were recorded using a drum machine, loops, or midi files and samples, which Tom programs himself.

"Tears was inspired on a recent visit to a battlefield
in Scotland on an overcast day filled with mist and
cool breezes.  To my surprise there was nothing more
than a small plaque commemorating the lost battle next
to a drinking fountain. I felt like those who lost
their lives deserved a better memorial than some cheap
metal plate so I wrote the song to honor the men that
parished."
