08/06/06...new mix of Puppet On A String now up on the soundclick site

08/01/06...since the new year we have changed our download policy on our soundclick site. this months featured song is "Train"......last month was a little slow not much going on as far as release wise in the Koalition camp. but that doesn't mean much around here. we could possibly release 2 songs this month, just really hard to say. I have been working on some production work and artwork for other bands the past couple of months that is the main reason why not much has gone on in Koalition. I have a few auditions that needs hashed out and a couple of songs that are currently released that will possibly have new singers in the near future. we are just taking it one song at a time.
so bear with us and enjoy the tunes that we do have released.

05/30/06...the battle of the bands are over on isound. and I'm not happy with repoting that we didn't place. hopefully  the next one will go better. thanks to all that did stop by and play the songs.

05/07/06...new mix of Train now posted on our soundclick site...

05/02/06...new release "Drowning In Fear" now posted. with Robert Lopez doing all the instruments & Stef Stokes on vocals. also introducing our newest member Blake Carpenter, helping out with the drum track. Blake Happens to be a singer as well, so we might see some vocals from him in the future.

05/01/06...Koalition - Battle Of The Bands (isound)
we have entered a battle of the bands. from May 1st to May 29th. if we win 1st place we will be giving away 20 copies of our Life's Lessons cd, PLUS 20 copies of the isound compilation cd (containing 2 of our songs) to 40 lucky winners, if we place in the top 8 (not winning first place) we will be giving away only 20 copies of the isound compilation cd...
what do I have to do?...you asked. well it is simple stop by our isound site http://www.isound.com/koalition sign up as a listener (free to sign up), then add us as a freind (only people on our isound freinds list will be eligable to win the cd's, currently there are 19 freinds on the list). and play our songs as much as possible during the duration of the contest. the more unique (playing a song over and over doesn't count, but by playing all 3 songs in one sitting gives us 3 plays) plays we get the better. if we place in the top 8 or win the compitition. all names that are on our freinds list will be placed into a hat and drawn at random for the cd's. the drawing will be done as follows: one name for the Life's Lessons cd, one name for the isound compilation cd, until all names are drawn, only one winner per cd (i.e. you cannot win a LIfe's Lessons cd and a compilation cd) if we win the contest and there isn't 40 names to be placed into the drawing everyone in the drawing, if we place, will get a cd. you will then be contacted for your mailing address, so we can get you a copy of one of the cd's (according to which one you win) the songs available for stream on our isound site are Black Rain, Ship With No Sail & From The Ashes.
don't forget to add us as your freinds to be eligable to get a free copy of the cd.

I also posted the song Train to soundclick as well. so stop by for a listen.
even though we haven't finished up all the songs for the Monsters Myths & Legends cd yet. we are in the process of releasing songs for the next cd "Omega Syndrome". staying true to concept cd's Omega Syndrome lyrically will deal with endings. so we are currently accepting lyrics for this cd and music as well. in the past we have had different songs that were set in different tunings. however on "Omega Syndrome" we are going for all songs being tuned the same. except for Black Rain 2006, all songs currently that has been written are in "D" tuning and drop "C". so anyone that wants to submit a song for this cd the tuning has to be in "D - drop C, or D tuning"

01/16/06...the song Black Train (which is an exclusive song on our myspace mp3 site) the name has been changed to just Train. I stopped by Allen's Rebel81 site and realized they have a new release called Black Train. Even though you can't copyright a song title and both of the songs are totally different. I opted to change the title (out of respect for him)

currently on soundclick radio stations we are being played on a total of 52 different stations.
we have finally gotten the Life's Lessons CD finished up. the first edition is available on our store site for $7.99 (plus shipping). also our From The Ashes CD is also available as well for the same price on our store.
this year we have gained two more flags to our Hall Of United Flags, one for Isreal and one from Mexico.
We had more hits this year on our soundclick site than 2003 & 2004 combined; in 2003/2004 we had 12,032 hits, and with a total of 7,088 plays. A total of limited downloads adding up to 217 with a total of 24 songs at the years end
This year for 2005 our total hits on the site for the year alone is 14,265. A total of 7,619 streams this year. A total of limited downloads adding up to 456 we have added 8 new members and 9 new songs this year. a couple more members and songs in the works as well. we have had a total of 18 songs in the top 50 of thier repected sub-genres, 15 songs in the top 40, 7 songs in the top 20, and 4 songs in the top 10 to date. We have put together 2 videos, 1 flash video for the song "From The Ashes" and an animated video for the album version of "Falling Into Infinity" we have also put together 3 dvd's (although two are currently unavailable) the third has been published, just not available for the public yet. I'm waiting on a preview copy to make sure it turned out ok before releasing it to everyone.
The other two DVD's are enhanced versions of our first two cd's "From The Ashes" & " Life's Lessons" each DVD includes the video associated with that album and the rest of the DVD is enhanced versions of the songs, which includes read along lyrics as the song is being played and pictures of all members involved with the song on the songs end credits. you can check out a lo-fi quality version of the enhanced Life's Lessons CD on our acidplanet site.
our store is having problems with large file uploads so that is why they aren't currently available. for the general public if you would like a burned copy of these DVD's feel free to email me for more info.
we are currently working on our third CD "Monsters Myths & Legends" and no set release date on when this cd will be finished up, but with any luck by the summer of 2006 it should be finished, and also another animated video to go along with this cd for the song "Beast Master"
I would also like to give thanks all the Koalition members for their talents on making this project as great as it has.
free downloads of all songs today only on our soundclick mp3 site. they will be set back to stream at midnight (est), and only a select few will still be set to download. our way of saying thanks for all the support these past 2 years

12/08/05...things really have pretty much been at a standstill publicly the last couple of months, in Koalition. but things are starting to look up, and things are coming together. I have grown to not jumping the gun on announcing new members, until I know for sure they don't back out after I mention them joining. but I'm happy to announce the newest member to Koalition, Robert Lopez. he has submitted a lead for Valley Of The Dead, and we should have a mix up of this song within the next couple of weeks. Also the artwork has been fixed & finalized (finally) for the cd Life's Lessons and hopefully will be available to the public in the upcoming months through CashCrop Records.

11/15/05...I have always been a big wrestling fan throughout the years, and a big fan of Eddie Guerrero. through WCW and through WWE. no matter if he was playing the good guy or being an ass, it was always an honor to watch him perform. 07/07/05...ok I'm officially welcoming Melissa Menendez into Koalition. her version of Ship WIth No Sail will blow you away. I got her vocal file last night(late) and have been working on the remix and running on very little sleep. I had sent out numerous emails about finding a female singer to do this tune. and glad that Melissa was the one to step up and answer the call. so as soon I get her final vocal file the rest of the tune should be set and ready and we can finally get Lifes Lessons finished up....YYYEAAHH. Also as soon as I get her profile info I will get it posted on her page. but for now there is a couple of pics of her along with links to her band Cherrie's websites with mp3's on site. with a couple of tunes sung in spanish and a couple in english.
on another note on From The Ashes. all songs have been remastered and currently are avalable free 128kbps versions on soundclick. so if you want them you better get them while you can.  they won't be free for long. if you have noticed I changed the cover to the cd. since Statue Records has more or less screwed us over I redone the cover and remastered the songs. also on our Lulu store you can buy an actual copy of the cd $8.00(u.s)(currently no high bitrate downloads available) since I have been promising everyone that the cd would be released we finally got it out there. so stop by and buy a copy and know that a portion of your money goes to charity.
I'm also in the process of doing much needed updates on all of our mp3 sites. our acidplanet site now has both videos there, so no need to only be able to watch one, before you needed a real player to watch the From The Ashes video both videos has had a little work done on them and the music has been replaced with mastered versions. Falling For Infinity video is up for purchase $1.25 (u.s.) on our Lulu store. all downloads were removed from that site except for the From The Ashes cd and the video. but the downloads will be back with the new remastered versions so you can buy individual downloads if you like. Also since we are close to finishing up Lifes Lessons soon it will be available for purchase. as well as being able to buy individual downloads if you like.

12/19/04...one year on the net, rockin everyones buns off from the start to where we are now. I have set all songs to download for free on the soundclick site, and they will be available until Christmas. Then it will go back to a select few for free download. then the first of the year all songs will go back to only stream. So if you like a song you better make sure you download it before they go back to stream. "Black Rain" is completed and up on the soundclick site now. It's been a great year for Koalition growing from 2 members and 1 song to 24 songs and members from 6 different countries. we also landed a distribution contract through Statue Records, and the From The Ashes cd is available for purchase through them. Tom & I are also working on an animated video for the tune Unholy, no set date on the completion of this yet. we are still in the process of putting together the enviroment for the video, and it is just about completed. I will be posting a batch of stills from the video in a couple of days so everyone can check them out. Also I'd like to thank all that has stopped by the site(s) and listened and downloaded the tunes and for all the support this past year. hopefully year #2 will be even better than our first year. with a total of 11,697 hits on just our Soundclick site and a total of 6,947 streams, and 123 downloads (limited time downloads) these stats are just from the soundclick site alone and not counting all the other sites that we have tunes on including this site.
thanks to all.... and happy holidays. Aarion

12/05/04...December 2004. a month of great success for Koalition. we are coming up on our 1 year anniversary. and what a year it has been. Starting out with just Chris & I (Aarion)our first tune published was Cloud Of Death. We had 1 number #1 song this past year. in the metal charts & heavy metal charts on soundclick (Hiding In Your Nightmare) another tune from Chris & I & Pam Barnett. currently on darksoul7 website Broken Wing has been #1 on the metal ranking for weeks now. we started with one website (soundclick) and now have our tunes on 20 some websites. we received a distribution contract for our first cd From The Ashes through Statue Records, which is scheduled for release tomorrow (December 6th), hopefully it will be released on time. we have grown tremendously in the past year, now we currently have 23 songs on soundclick (our main mp3 site) and members from 6 different countries.
we have put a video together of From The Ashes, which can be viewed on aiiradio.net (real player required). also we are currently finishing up our second Cd "Lifes Lessons" and with any luck it will be ready for distribution sometime at the first of next year. A big thanks to Tom Vitacco for his contribution to this Cd, along with 3 songs from him for it. he also put together the cover art for this. and did an excellent job as well. we have a new member if you have noticed on our members page. Rebel 81 (Allen Marcum) you can listen to a preview mix of an up-coming release of a song called "Ship with No Sail" here this song is in Stef Stokes's hands for vocals so the version up now has no vocals on it. We already have the idea for our 3rd CD, the title "Monsters, Myths, & Legends" we already have a couple of tunes written, and in the process of writing a couple as well for this cd. no current idea on when this cd will be complete just yet. I'd like to thank everyone that has come to this site and all of our other sites and checked out the tunes. and to celebrate our 1 year on the net. there are currently some free downloadable mp3's a few here on this site on our mp3 link page and also on soundclick as well. these will be free for download until the first of the year.

12/01/04... with every month on our links page we have a new Artist Of The Month...this month is Jim Gaven from the U.S. stop by check out a few of his tune

November2004
11/24/04...new mix of Black Rain now up with Rolf & Toms' lead work. mix is getting closer to be completed.

11/23/04...I have Rolf & Toms leads for Black Rain, now just to get time to get them mixed into the tune. I have to re-record some stuff on my end and burnt my left index finger at work today. So it might be a few days before I can do any recording to finish it up. but it should be done in a week or so, with any luck.

11/22/04...Lo-fi version of Black Rain now available to check out exclusively here on the lo-fi site only.

11/20/04...preview mix of Black Rain with Stef Stokes and Pete Helfrich on vocals now available to listen to exclusively here, hi-fi only. Song still needs some lead work done. from our two resident shredders Rolf & Tom

11/11/04...well I couldn't wait White Horse available on soundclick.

11/10/04...hi-fi version of White Horse (featuring Stef Stokes) available to check out here. if you can't play the hi-fi version you can stop by aiiradio and request it on the tag board. all of the dj's have a copy of the song.

11/08/04...White Horse featuring Stef Stokes on vocals now available on request at aiiradio. coming to the mp3 sites soon.

11/07/04...we are coming along good on the remixes of White Horse. Stef has already sent me a prelim mix, and has done an excellent job. unfortunitly you all can't hear it yet. However there should be a mix up sometime this coming week. Also Black Rain, Stef has been practicing on as well, but I haven't heard it yet. I did however write the song for her by keeping her vocals in mind while writing. So, I have great faith in her and know she will do and excellent job on all projects we send her way. I'm sure we can get her to do more tunes.
If you noticed coming into the site I have added a lo-fi connection to the site. I noticed at a friends house that it was taking a long time for the site to load because of the graphics. To all that has been to the site before this past week that are on dial-up, I apologize for the inconvenience. I am slowly working
on doubling the site one version without graphics so the pages will load faster

11/01/04...I have a mix of the next tune up, and waiting on Stef to get a chance to add her vocals to it. the song is called "Black Rain". clck the link to listen. also we will be adding some lead work from Rolf and Possibly Tom as well.
lo-fi hi-fi

also as with every month on our links page we have a new Artist Of The Month...this month is Mikill from the U.S. stop by check out a few of his tune

October2004
10/31/04...Happy Halloween to all

10/28/04...just found out that "From The Ashes" will be released on December 6th, CD version through Statue Records. I'm not sure on the price just yet. but will keep you updated. Stef is working on "White Horse" and I have written lyrically the final song for "Lifes Lessons" the song will be called "Black Rain" . Rolf also has another tune up and I'm trying to get him talked into putting in on the cd as well. I have directed Stef to the song so she could take a crack at the vocals for it.
I also got the vocals from Tom of Worwyk for "Falling Into Infinity" and I'm in the process of getting it mixed in. despite what he says he did a great job on it. and his style of vocals fit the song perfect.

10/17/04...things are going pretty good towards the new cd as far as songs go. we have 7 completed and up on the soundclick site. With one more in production called "The Sign" which will be our heaviest tune to date once it is complete. A power metal tune, which has a mixture of Iron Maiden, Iced Earth, Megadeth, & Slayer all rolled into one. alot of different changes and definetly will get your head banging. I also got the master to From The Ashes sent out to Statue this weekend so hopefully by Christmas the cd version will be available

10/13/04...Unholy, Tears Of The Mist, & Misery have been released on soundclick. I had a few people get ahold of me about not getting their requests played on aiiradio. so now you can listen anytime you like. they currently aren't available for purchase, but will be soon.

10/09/04...I've added some tunes to the mp3 page. "Tears Of The Mist", "Unholy", & "Misery"...which is still in the production process of working out the bugs and vocal cues. it's a pretty cool tune so stop by the mp3 page and take a listen. Tom from Worwyk and one of his buddies is currently working on a power metal tune for the "Lifes Lessons" cd as well. once that song is complete and "Misery" gets done. Also we are redoing the vocals on "Falling Into Infinity" Tom from Worwyk will be doing the verses on that song. and we also are redoing "White Horse" I found an excellent female singer from the U.K. Stef Stokes (I ran across her on aiiradio) she is an excellent singer and I'm sure she will do an excellent job on the tune. When I wrote the song I had the idea of a female to sing the tune

10/02/04...currently working on a new tune form Worwyk called "Unholy". its a killer tune and lyrically pushes some serious bounderies. you can listen to a prelim mix below or go to the project page and read along with the lyrics.
lo-fi hi-fi lyrics/music

10/01/04...you can hear our music being played online at aiiradio. you have to have real player to be able to listen, if you don't already have real player you can get it from the site. So stop by and request our music to be played. they have a messageboard where you can request to hear our music.
as always with a new month comes a new artist of the month on the band links page. this month is a band from the U.S. called Haven. stop by give them a listen.

September2004
09/26/04...we are getting a couple new members from the U.S. and we have a couple new tunes in production. one is an indusrtial tune along the lines of Manson called "Misery" no available mp3 yet for that. But the other is an anthem metal tune that is sure to rise up the charts when we get it done. it is called "Tears Of The Mist" you can hear the prelim mix or go to the page and read along with the lyrics

09/21/04...I just got an email from Stoneman. We will be scraping the Flag Draped Coffins song. Stoneman ended up gettting an exclusive contract from the song, which is cool, and we wish him all the best. I also recieved an email that Jenna Vescio was in the hospital had had major surgery to remove some cancer. she is doing well and recovering our prayers are with her and hope she makes a speedy recovery.

09/18/04...I got an email from Rob Fitz the director of the movie God Of Vampires. You might recall, if you are a regular here to keep up on the project, that I mentioned submitting Falling Into Infinity and Night Of The Vampire for the soundtrack to this flick. Well, he said he liked the stuff and see about getting it worked in. So I will keep everyone updated on the progress, and place a link to the G.O.V. website on the links page for future use. But, you can check out some pics and more stuff about the movie here: movie

I also sent out a cdr version of From The Ashes to Strutter magazine in Holland so should be hearing back from them before long on a review and possible interview.

09/06/04...I'd like to welcome our newest member to the Koalition fold...Liana Steer from Australia. she did some vocal work on Flag Draped Coffins (coming soon). so keep your eye out for that release in the near future. the last vocal part is being done now, which will also add another new member to Koalition

hi-fi

09/01/04...well 9 months into this project and I think everything is going pretty good. We have completed a 10 song Cd. and got a contract with an indie label for distribution. We have grown from 3 members in 2 different countries to 14 members from 6 different countries. We started out with one mp3 site (soundclick), and have expanded to 20 total mp3 sites to date, to reach a larger and growing number of listeners from around the world. Our CD is currently available for purchase (download version only) as well as individual downloads, you can access that on our mp3 link. We have compiled some excellent musicians/writers/lyricists and music from around the globe, and plan on trecking forth and adding more members and songs in the months, and hopefully years to come.

with a new month comes a new artist of the month on the band links page here on the site. this month a killer band from Chicago Blacklyst.

also I have added 3 radio stations that are affiliated with Koalition on soundclick.
station one: Aarion's Station has alot of different tunes from around soundclick currently a total of 75 songs from 49 different bands/performers
station two: Koalition link radio which are songs from all of the soundclick bands that have a link on our band link page.
station three: Koalition members radio which is compiled of songs from Koalition members that have individual projects on soundclick.

To remember 9/11 on that day only from midnight to midnight eastern standard time (U.S.) From The Ashes and Blood Red Dawn will be set for free download to remember the fallen (Soundclick site only). I will send out a message to all that has signed the Koalition soundclick messageboard and an email to all subscribers to remind everyone the day before.

The cd has been sent out to for the soundtrack to the movie God Of Vampires, so hopefully one or both songs that were submitted will be used. I will keep you all updated when I hear something back from the director

August2004
08/29/04...I have everything situated to send out Cd's to the following places. Master copy of From The Ashes to Statue Records for distribution. I am also sending a cdr copy of the master to Strutter magazine out of Holland for review. and I'm making up a cd comprised of 2 songs to send out for possible horror movie track concideration, which will contain the following 2 songs, Night Of The Vampire and Falling Into Infinity. I started writing a new tune this past weekend called White Horse, it deals with the effects of drug addiction. I also got an email for a song submission from a possible new member, I will keep you updated on that as well. I'm also almost finished with Flag Draped Coffins (Stoneman tune) I'm still trying to find another vocalist to finish out the song. I started 3 radio stations on soundclick you can access them on the main page. stop by and check them out.

08/15/04...should be sending out the master to Statue beginning of next week. it will take 3 to 4 weeks once they get it, before the cd version distribution can kick in. but if you like you can buy the downloaded version now for only $7.50. just go to the mp3 page and click the buy it button.

08/01/04...brand new month all of the songs from the From The Ashes Cd are now up for individual download on the mp3 page. all songs are $0.79 each. also the whole Cd should be ready for sale by the middle of the month. I have talked to Statue and they agreed to expand the artwork for the Cd to include the lyrics as well. so keep an eye out for the release.

July2004

07/24/04...I received an email from Amy today her husband Travis (see entry below 7/11) is home, and has had a couple of surgeries to repair his injuries, but it recovering well. we are all glad to see him home safe and sound. Also on a musical update.. Falling Into Infinity is climbing the charts and is already in the top #10 in the industrial metal genre on soundclick. well I guess we won't be on the Gplk inc. Cd. it was release yesterday and our song is not on it. they wanted a "donation" so I guess since we didn't give them one we didn't make it on. oh well...lol

07/22/04...huge update as far as new tunes coming up....
I've been working on 2 new killer tunes the past couple of days and I have prelim mixes up for you to check out. The first tune is called "The Seduction (Grip Of Death)" kind of a Megadeth style tune
lo-fi hi-fi

the second tune is sure to become an Anthym, for sure, a #1 tune, alot of harmonies in this tune.
written by fellow Koalition member Rolf Riley the tune is called:
"So Long As Everbody Knows"
lo-fi hi-fi

07/14/04...Ace In The Hole debuted at #92 in the metal charts and #42 in the heavy metal charts today
on soundclick.

07/11/04...I received an email from Gevania Records the other day, and I was told that Travis Gingrich
(whom the song American Soldier was written for, him and his family) was injured in Iraq when his vehicle he was traveling in, ran over a land mine and exploded. he is being shipped home, and only suffered minor injuries, thanks to the armour on his vehicle. Our thoughts and prayers are with Amy & Travis, and we all hope he makes a speedy recovery.

07/09/04...quick update on Ace In The Hole. it is done you can listen from the links below. I'd also like to welcome the newest member from Australia Spiro Dimolianis into the Koalition fold. he contributed some killer keys to Ace In The Hole. so now production is now complete for the From The Ashes cd. as soon as we get it mastered and shipped out I will let everyone know.

07/08/04...we just about got Ace In The Hole finished. you can take a listen below
lo-fi hi-fi

07/06/04...I finished up Falling Into Infinity, (check the link below for the updated version) now all it needs is some lead work done on it. As soon as I can get some lead on it, I am going to submit it, along with Night Of The Vampire to an Independent film called God Of Vampires. The director has already heard N.O.V. and it's my understanding he liked the tune, so hopefully he will groove on Falling Into Infinity as well, and use them both. I will keep everyone updated if anything comes of this. Ace In The Hole is the last song that needs finished for the From The Ashes CD, and Rolf should have his part done in a couple of days, hopefully. I was hopeing to have it done, master and all by next week, but I'm not sure if it will happen the way I have planned. I hope it does, but only time will tell.

07/04/04...happy 4th to everyone in the states. I've updated Falling Into Infinity a couple of times yesterday. It still needs the vocals re-done in the chorus part and some backing vocals behind it, then get some lead work done on it and it will be complete. GPLK inc. emailed me today, and since I declined being on thier CD, due to the fact that we would have to pay to be on the CD. that they got back in touch with me and said, and I quote, "your music is essential to this project, so we will be including it on the CD." and we don't have to pay, pretty cool I think. they still haven't told me what song that they chose to be on the CD. once I find out I will let everyone know.

07/03/04...First new tune of the month...I've been working on a new song the last couple of days, and it's just about done, an Industrial Metal tune, named Falling Into Infinity. I need to add some more backing vocals to it, and it needs a lead added as well, but I put it up to check the mix on stereo. you can check out the preview mix below.
lo-fi hi-fi

07/01/04...I've had to do a little rearranging on Flag Draped Coffins and pull in a couple of different people to finish it. hopefully I will have a mix up for everyone to check out within the next week or so.

June2004
06/28/04...Freedom Wasn't Free debuted at # 112 on the metal charts and # 53 on the heavy metal charts today

06/26/04...I've added a new mp3 site, Primetones, which we will be selling downloads from. Currently the only available song to download is Night Of The Vampire. Downloads are encoded at 192kbps for quality recordings and are only $1.00 each, U.S. I will keep everyone updated on new releases for this
site for purchase. you can go here and check out the site. You have to have real player to stream tunes

06/25/04...A quick update for all you Koalition fans that stops by and checks out the news for regular updates...Ace In The Hole is just about done, you can hear the version without Rolf's guitar at the following links:
lo-fi hi-fi
Also we have been hard at work working on one of his songs as well, a tune called Freedom Wasn't Free, The song is dedicated to all that was involved in the D-Day Normany invasion during WW2 you can hear a version of that at the following links as well:
lo-fi hi-fi
an update on the Gplk inc. thing I mentioned back in April...they accepted one of our songs to be on their contiplation CD, however at the time they didn't tell me that we had to pay to be on the CD, until they sent me the email saying we was accepted. Since we will not recieve any royalties from sales I declined being added to the CD.

06/20/04...to all the dads out there...Happy Fathers Day. Ace In The Hole is coming along pretty good. I laid down a prelim vocal track yesterday and sent it off to Lulu for Rolf to lay down a lead track for it. Also I added some backing vocals not on the prelim mix, and hopefully it will be done in a few days and released on soundclick. I checked out the mp3songs.org.uk today Hiding In Your Nightmare is up to #76

06/17/04...we made it on mp3songs.org.uk a site dealing with all different tunes. we made it on their top 100 chart with Hiding In Your Nightmare. check out the chart here
also I was contacted by Strutter Magazine an online, and paperback mag from Holland interested in doing a review and possible interview for the up-coming release From The Ashes. Also an update on that as well, Flag Draped Coffins will have to be dropped from the F.T.A. project and replaced with Kollateral Damage. It seems that a few of the singers are having some difficulties and health problems. the song will not be totally scrapped but just dropped from the F.T.A. project. I have also decided to sing Ace In The Hole myself, the singer that I had planned on singing the song is having a rough go with his vocals. also Harry Christmas is doing the master for the Cd and hopefully with any luck it should be ready for retail sale by the middle of next month (with any luck).

06/02/04...Kollateral Damage is done. and is going to be the title to the
sequel cd for From The Ashes. The song turned out even bettter than I had hoped it would.
you can check out the preview mix before it get released to soundclick at the following links:
lo-fi hi-fi

06/01/04...we have a new tune and member in the works. Mike Murphy from Blissful Agony hailing from Canada who is an excellent writer. his music will be put to lyrics by Dixie Vornbrock. the title to the song is Kollateral Damage, so keep an eye out for that tune. Also the last two songs for the From The Ashes cd is now in production, we are also getting a new member from Australia Liana Steer aka. Katziis who will be singing on Flag Draped Coffins, and we anticipate the release of the complete cd sometime in mid August, if not before.

May2004
05/30/04...alot of things going on this month. A couple new tunes and members as well. Also the last 2 songs for the From The Ashes Cd are now in production, and should be finished up by the end of next month. The last song going on the cd will be entitled Flag Draped Coffins, I have envolved all Koalition singers in on this one, and deviding up the lyrics between each one (kind of a We Are The World kind of tune), also Rolf Riley is putting a ryhthm guitar track and lead track to it and everyone else is currently working on their vocal parts. The song is Stoneman's and you can hear the original version on his site. I now have another set of my lyrics going into another International Poets Society anthology. "Who's Who in Poetry" will be the title, and I sent in Lost Adventures which is lyrics for a Heterodox Roxx song now up on that site. we are looking at around mid August for the release of From The Ashes, as you have noticed the cover is done, with a little collaboration between myself and Jenna Vescio, and it turned out alot better than I expected, the rest of the artwork is also in the works for the cd

05/07/04...Quick update on Ace In The Hole...I've found a singer (whose vocal style is similar to the band T.N.T)....AND...a guitar player (similar style to Malmsteen) to lay down some lead tracks. some killer vocals and lead work on the way so keep a watch on the news page for the next mix...
05/07/04...We now have a mix of Ace In The Hole now up (without lead vocals) and accepting auditions for this song now. you can hear the mix at one of the following links
lo-fi hi-fi
if you like the tune and would like to audition for it you can find the project page here. if you are not a member of lulu.com you will need to sign up to be able to download it, so don't freak out if you go to the page and the download link is not there. Looking for a vocalist similar to Ronnie James Dio, Sabastian Bach, or Mark Slaughter to sing this, all 3 of these style should fit great to this song. no metal core vocals will be accepted so don't waste your time or mine, if that is your style of vocals.

05/09/04...We are going to sign with Statue Records to see what they can do for us
on a year contract.

05/06/04...Blood Red Dawn & American Soldier now released on soundclick.

04/18/04...I got a mix of Broken Wing up on my project page. this is for all Koalition fans hear it before it hits the the mp3 sites. listen to low-fi listen to hi-fi. I had Pam from Turning Point do the intro to the song. I bet you will never hear rock-a-bye-baby done by any metal band. Also we have another song in the works with Pam singing vocals on it. so keep an eye out for that as well. I have also compiled all my poems and lyrics that I have published all on one site you can find that here

04/17/04...I got my computer back yesterday and it is working excellent...now I'm back up and running (recording wise) and working on Broken Wing and with any luck I should be able to get it done by this weekend. David from Burden is coming up next weekend to do the drums on a remix of From The Ashes so there should be a new mix of that song up week after next sometime.

04/15/04...I've been surfing the sites and we are on the France charts on Besonic at no#54
with Hiding In Your Nightmare pretty cool since I didn't know we had any listeners in France. I'd like to see it run up the charts like it did on Soundclick. That song is pretty much becoming our signature song...

Ive also added a new mp3 site Broadjam to the arsinal of mp3 sites and entered the 3 songs on that site into a contest for the military. the three songs Hiding In Your Nightmare, Cloud Of Death, They Say It's For Freedom

04/09/04...I got an email from Gplk inc. from the U.K. the other day. originally it came to Heterodox Roxx about showing interest in using songs for a contiplation CD of independent artists. I directed them to this site as well. they are interested in using one of our songs. so we are submitting Cloud Of Death, Hiding In Your Nightmare, and Gypsy. that way they can choose which song they would like to use on the Cd. I should know something in about a month or so if they will use one of the songs on it and will give info on where to get the Cd when it become available. The Cd will be going on sale sometime in July.
I've also been writing a couple new songs, but I am holding off on doing anymore recording until sometime next week. I guess all the computer problems I've been having is due to the fact that my motherboard and processor isn't fast enough to keep up with me...lol. So I'm getting another motherboard and processor installed next week.
I've also done a prelim vocal mix on another tune from Eutioa. you can read the lyrics for this song on the Heterodox Roxx site, under the poetry link the title is Broken Wing. I will keep you all updated on the release of this tune.

March2004
03/29/04...remix of Night Of The Vampire now up on the main site. I've added a bunch of mp3 host sites in the past week or so if you get a chance check out them all out. but we will still be using soundclick for the main site at the present time.

03/22/04...I have fixed the timing issues on F.T.A. and waiting on Darrell to get his lead done to it. I have also added a bunch more mp3 host sites and will post them all next week.

03/14/04...Well my computer crashed and I lost everything to be able to remix From The Ashes. So I'm just going to leave it the way it is. So keep a look-out for the final mix with Darrell's lead on it

03/07/04...Working on a re-mix of From The Ashes. As soon as I get it done. I'm having Darrell from Stagecraft to put a lead on it as well. also we have another mp3 site. 02/29/04...Leap year... I wonder if you are born today are you only 1 year older the next time there is a leap year or what?... just something for everyone to think about...lol. Not much happening this month outside of our newest member Stoneman. I've been having alot of computer problems and haven't been able to do much recording this month like I wanted to. I have a new recording program, thanks to Darrell from Stagecraft. But now just to get my computers straightened out. as soon as I get one of them in working order as far as recording wise. I am going to put together From The Ashes. I've had alot of people ask me about it. Since I have a drum program on the new software. I'm just going to put it together myself and have Darrell put his lead on it. Don't forget to stop by and sign either the guestbook or messageboard before you leave. peace...Aarion
