| Hello Koalition,
Very cool sound. Reminds me of old school metal, when metal ruled the world. You have a Maiden, Queenschrye sound which is awesome! cool vocals and cool name. --chamberofsorrows January 21, 2004 |
| From The Ashes is definitely a great song. Extremely catchy guitar and lyrics. Like the whole setup of the song a lot. Keep up the good work guys and keep telling me when you new stuff up on your site.

Hey Man.....It's cool to see that METAL ISN'T GONE!!! 'From The Ashes' sounds a little hard to follow though, rythmically speaking. I do understand that it takes a lot more to mix live instruments, so I give you mad props there!! & I'm glad that you want people to remember 9/11, since you're not from NY!! Most New Yorkers seem to feel that the rest of the Country just forget to easily....since they're not here to see it everyday. Anyway man....KEEP ON ROCKIN'!!! `peace` catchya'latah...djdeewreck EDGAR POND |

Cool stuff guys. The rhythm guitar tones seem a little over processed to me...but that's just a personal taste sorta thing...not trying to sound critical. I like the "old school" metal vibes though. Best of luck to ya! Don Madison |

I listened to your song, From The Ashes. Very nice sound. I don't usually listen to this type of music, but I found this song very good. It has a really nice beat and I liked all the heavy guitar playing at the beginning. Vocals were great too. I really liked this song! Great stuff! Thank you for stopping by my site and your comments. Hi! Took a listen to Freedom wasn't Free.At the outset I must say I am not too keen on Heavy Metal but I thought the concept of the track was excellent and the timing of release quite poignant.Your vocals are very good and it must have taken some time to complete.I was pleasantly surprised by it all.Good work! Hi, Thanks for coming back by and listening to "Naked Truth" and "Heaven And Earth" - the Ann Wilson comparison - wow, that sure made me feel good (Heart is a big influence - especially Nancy who was an inspiration for me to learn guitar). I'm listening to "Kollateral Damage" now - there's great drama in your music. I dig that. Serious lyrical themes too... interesting stuff. You guys are intellegent about what you do. That's getting increasingly rare in today's music business, so bravo on that! I will find a way to include a link to you guys when I get back from Canada (leaving tomorrow - will be back on July 12th). I am going to put up links to the soundclick artists who have been supportive of me and that will include you guys! Thanks again for making me "artist of the month" - cool!!!! :-) Cheers, Lynn Carey Saylor |

Freedom wasn't free is another super track from you guys. I like the intro. Cool idea. Musically the Queensrche sound is still there. Good over all performance on this killer tune. Zitter |
| review from New Music Showcase: Koalition is a joint venture of fourteen muscians from six different countries. They decided to join forces to make killer music, and that is exactly what they have done! Their cd "From the Ashes" is best described as heavy metal/alternative rock, featuring male and female vocals, killer guitar riffs, and great lyrics. Dedicated to the victims of 9/11, partial proceeds go to charity |

ooooo i'm likin ur idea of 9/11 album is a good idea. You need to publicise it as much as possible. One way to get more publicity from a global audience is for you to register and post at: http://mcevolotion.proboards25.com/index.cgi got some american people who are on soundclick as well on that site, so its good to publicise and make allies in the music industry :) Pz posted on Sun September 12, 2004 its really good and you need to expand your music to other listeners. Like its good to hear about an american citizen view about 9/11 instead of propaganda all over the world trying to state a specific view for all you americans. You have to show the world THE TRUTH! da warlord |
| Strutter magazine F.T.A. review:This American band is really circulating in the demo circuit, so the sound quality is not up the standards of the label releases, but on the other hand if they have enough money to get into a professional studio, the results might be more sensational, because from what I could hear on their demo CD it sounded to me like a good quality Melodic Power Metal band in the old 80s US fashioned way. They reminded me of FATES WARNING, METAL CHURCH, LEATHERWOLF, HEIR APPARENT, and you name it further, although also a slight modern Gothic Metal influence can be heard. Its however a big pity that the bad sound quality spoils the listening pleasure and also influences the rating I am gonna give to their demo CDR. Again, songs like From the ashes, Hiding in your nightmare, They say its freedom and Gypsy are really great melodic metalsongs, but the sound/production is quite bad, so lets just hope for a better sounding CD next time (production wise, because musically it all sounds well). |
