go way back to the early 1980's
when she attended upsala college in e. orange,
and rsm was a dj at wfmu there.
she used to listen to his zany late-night programs on a little boombox
way up at her parents' house in port chester ny.
she ordered her first stevietapes in 1983.



they became best friends and fooled around on occasion,
and she subsequently became a popular fmu dj herself.

but it was not until monday 11 may 1987
that something truly clicked
and a lifetime's romance was born.

on that same day,
jim price & rsm left a yankee game and dropped by the radio station on the way home. ko was doing a show.
btw, rsm was pictured in a fabled new york times
article that day, too!

anyway,
from then on, they have been inseparable...
a loyal enduring partnership.
thirteen years strong.
apparently, they still love each other very much.
