Story:
Baught new in 1957 by a doctor situated then in the middle of Norway: Tr�ndelag.
In 1965 he retired from his work and moved back to the east of Norway.
His Grand son borrowed the car from 1979 to 1985, since then it was stored in a garage in the city of Arendal situated in the south of Norway up to 1996 (11 years)
I saw the car first time in 1987, but the owner would not sell the car before in 1996.
The VW was registered on its original registration number: U-1265.
Until now it has been stored in a garage in Mandal, in the south of Norway.
I use the car for a small trip 4-5 times a year.
The model is one of the most popular nostalgic VW; The last with the oval rear window. |
