Teal'c carries great guilt for the part he played in choosing Daniel
Jackson's wife Sha'uri as a potential host for Ammonet, even more so when
he was forced to kill Sha'uri to save Daniel's life. Teal'c freely pledged
his allegiance to the people of Earth but his first goal is always to
free his people. He will walk away from SG-1 if he feels his people are
better served in so doing. Teal'c is a contradiction, both noble and vengeful,
but he would die for his brothers in SG-1 and gives his all for them.
Teal'c loved his wife Drey'auc, but his first and true love was the Jaffa
priestess Shan'auc, murdered by Tanith, the symbiote she had carried to
maturity. Teal'c swore revenge on Tanith and as with Chronos, eventually
achieved it.
