Skaara was an inhabitant of Abydos and a very good friend of O'Neill, as well as the brother of Sha're. Then he was kidnapped by Apophis,and implated with Klorel, Apophis' son. Klorel was removed by the Tollan triad,and since then he has ascended.
Klorel is the son of Apophis, who inhabited the body of the Abydonian youth Skaa'ra. He commanded one of the pyramid ships in his father's failed attack on Earth. After crash-landing on Tollana, Klorel/Skaara went through Triad, after which Klorel was removed from his host by the Tok'ra.
