Sha´re was a resident of Abydos, and the daughter of Kasuf. When the original team from earth arrived, she fell in love with Daniel Jackson. When the team returned to earth, Daniel opted to stay, and Sha´re's father gave her to him in marriage. For a time they were very happy, until Apophis came. Shau'ri was kidnapped by Apophis, and became a host for Amonet. Daniel joined SG-1 in hopes of finding and saving Sha´re. Their few encounters were brief, and mostly hostile, except for a short time on Abydos while Sha´re was with child. Later Sha´re met Daniel during a rescue mission to P8X-872. She was desperate to tell him of the location of the child, however, the only way she could get past Amonet was to use the ribbon device. Unfortunately, Teal'c was convinced she was trying to kill Daniel and fired a staff weapon at her. She died beside Daniel and her last words professed her love for him. Later she was buried in a traditional ceremony on Abydos.

Amonet is the queen of Apophis. Jackson and SG-1 searched for Sha´re for more than two years before she returned to Abydos to give birth to her child. Amonet was dormant, since she was very near to giving birth. Amonet had a son, hidden away by Kasuf and Sg-1. Apophis was told that Heru-ur had stolen the child. The son of Amonet and Apophis is a Harcisis, the offspring of two Goa'uld, who contains all the genetic memory of the Goa'uld . He was sent to the planet Kheb before Amonet's death.

Myths of Amonet:

She is also called Amaunet. As the first wife of Amun, she is a member of the pantheon called the Ogdoad of Hermopolis. The same as Amun, her name also means "The Hidden One." She was the teacher of the Pharaohs, the embodiment of the northern wind, and a fertility goddess. She is also called "the mother who is father." In this capacity, she needed no male intervention to create life. She was a Snake Deity usually depicted as the Uraeus (Cobra) that sits on the Nemes (striped head cloth) or the Deshret (Red Crown of Lower Egypt). Her shadow, among the primeval gods, is a symbol of protection. Reliefs at Karnak clearly mark her as prominent in rituals closely associated with the monarch's accession and jubilee festival. For instance, in the momument of Tuthmosis III, known as the Akh-menu, Amaunet and Min lead a row of deities to watch the king and sacred bull in the jubilee celebration. Much later in the Greek domination of Egypt she is carved on the exterior wall of the sanctuary suckling the pharaoh Philip Arrhidaeus who is playing the role of the divine child immediately following the scene depicting his enthronement. A late equation at Karnak identifies her with Neith of the Delta- comparable to the analogy made between Mut and Sakhmet- but she retains her own identity well into the Ptolemaic period. The statue above is found behind the fifth pylon at the Luxor, Karnak Temple Colonnade - a work of Tutmosis I - and the sixth pylon - a work of Tuthmosis II. There are two tall pink columns with the symbols of Egypt - the iris flower (high Egypt) and the lotus flower - Lower Egypt). Close to these two columns are two large statues of Amon and his companion Amonet.

Born on April 3, 1972, in Jerusalem, Israel.
She got her first big break at age 15, in the Cameri Theater of Tel Aviv production of Dangerous Liaisons. She had already made a name for herself in the Israeli film industry before she left for America. In 1991, she won the Israeli Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress for the feature Over the Ocean and later received a nomination for Best Actress for her role in Groupie. But Israeli films have limited appeal, and though she was highly regarded in her native country, she relocated to New York, found work as a waitress, and took acting lessons. A talent agent discovered her one-day in the restaurant, and she landed the female lead in Stargate. The main thing holding her back was her accent - not too many roles were available to foreign actresses. She went to work on learning to speak English like an American, and her efforts were rewarded. Her most recent Israeli film role was in Minotaur. After her role in Kissing A Fool Vanity Fair described Mili as one of the five most promising actresses in Hollywood today. She also dated David Schwimmer
