Teal'c's former teacher and former First Prime of Apophis and Klorel. Bra'tac was 137 in Season Five. In fact, he seems to be always bragging about his age (probably because he is surprised that he has lived this long without someone killing him.) Bra'tac lives on Chulak, the homeworld of Apophis' Jaffa recruits. Like his student Teal'c, he believes that the Goa'uld are false gods, and actively assists SG-1 on matters related to Apophis and Teal'c's family. He is also a leader of the Jaffa Resistance, a movement bent on freeing all Jaffa from Goa'uld enslavement. Since barely surviving a Goa'uld attack on the Resistance and losing his larval Goa'uld symbiote, Bra'tac relies on regular doses of the symbiote-derived drug tretonin to live.
