Stretching: The Key to Safety and Exercise

Last class you learned how to do crunches for an abdominal exercise.  It is important for professional and amateur athletes to not only keep in shape, but to prevent themselves from injury.  The best way for athletes to not injure themselves is to do stretching exercises.  Your task today is to learn stretching exercises shown by your trainer for your neck, shoulders, arms, back, and legs.  In the table below, check off the areas you have stretched.  Let your teachers know when you need assistance and when you are finished.  Hand in your sheet at the end of the lesson.  Have fun and stretch safely.
